Juliet Burke moodtheme
Sep. 6th, 2007 12:11 amAfter rewatching season 3 of Lost last week and fangirling like crazy over Juliet every time she appeared on the screen, I felt the need to do something as a tribute to the awesomeness of the character. So... here it is! My very own Juliet moodtheme. :)
I know the gorgeous subject matter helps, but I really think this is my best moodtheme to date. I'm finally getting the hang of tinkering with colouring and stuff, so I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. Yay!
If anyone would like to snag it, you can download the ZIP file here. (If that link expires, just let me know and I'll upload it again.) All images are from Lost-Media.com, and all mood icons are 95x60. Please comment if you're taking, credit me if you're feeling kind. I hope you enjoy! :)
(Btw, just as a heads-up... there's a strong leaning towards Jack/Juliet in some of these, and also some major spoilers for season 3.)
Teasers:
happy -

angry -

sad -

Date: 2007-09-07 08:59 am (UTC)Sure, I can help you. First you need to upload the pics somewhere (Photobucket maybe, or even your LJ album), and then you go to the Custom Mood Theme Editor page. Come up with a name for your moodtheme and put that in the "Name" typing box on that page, then click on Create. From there it takes you to a page with every mood listed along with a typing box for each one's URL.
This part takes a while, but it's totally worth it - you have to enter each mood's URL into the boxes (you can just copy and paste them, which saves time) and enter the dimensions in the "Width" and "Height" boxes. The width for all of these is 95 and the height is 60. And don't forget to uncheck the "Inherit from..." boxes, because if you leave them checked it'll use the icon from the parent mood instead of the correct one. ("Angry" is the parent mood for "aggravated," "annoyed," "enraged," etc.)
Once you've done all that, click on save and you should have yourself a new moodtheme! :)
I hope this helps! I know it sounds complicated, but it's pretty easy once you get started! The only thing is, if you save the moodtheme partway through uploading it, the upload page gets kinda slow. At least it does for me... maybe you'd have better luck! I tend to save it after each parent mood and its "family" are all uploaded, because then the slowness isn't so bad. I just never want to risk putting in the URLs for 132 moods to find out I'd made a mistake and have to start all over. ;)
Good luck!
