Supernatural 5x01 - Sympathy For the Devil

Who knew a Yosemite Sam cartoon could not only be used cleverly in this show, but actually be foreshadowing? Very nice. ;)

This episode had one of the ROCKIN'EST "THE ROAD SO FAR" recaps EVER. Thunderstruck! Way to get us pumped for the season premiere. :D

Random thought - When do you suppose Dean got his GED? I always like to think it was when Sam went off to college. I kind of see Dean as being of the opinion that a hunter doesn't need to be book-smart, but I have this whole scenario in my head that when Sam went off to Stanford and John was all upset about it, Bobby tried to rationalize it for him, saying that a good education can be a great asset for a hunter. I always think that was part of the reason why Bobby and John split, and that maybe the whole thing inspired Dean to finish his high school education, maybe even behind John's back. I'd love for them to tell us one day how it came about, but until then, that's my personal canon. :)
