So, SPN fans... how did you fill the lonely hour that was supposed to bring us such great joy last night?

Me, I took the haters' advice and read a book -

An amazingly awesome book, too, that I thoroughly enjoyed and is now securely cemented in my Top 5 Books of All Time... and yet still I would rather have been watching Supernatural. :P

What about you? What were you doing at 9pm on January 28, 2011, when the lights went out on SPN fandom?

I read Crime & Punishment twice in college, 2 different translations. I really liked it! I'll probably read it again in about 20 years. :)

I already want to read it again. :)

Well since I have to watch SPN on Saturday mornings, I spent my Sam&Dean time taking a nice long hot and relaxing bath. With music of course.
That really helped with the frustration. Mmmmmm.

Sounds nice! Not as nice as watching SPN, of course, but a suitable alternative. ;)

I was a bad SPN fan and watched Fringe.

I figured it was fitting revenge. I had planned on recording and watching Fringe after Supernatural anyways, so why not?

Why are all of the best shows always on networks that don't care about them?! It makes absolutely no sense to me.

I wish there was a Robin Hood organization that took under-appreciated shows from their networks and gave them to better networks that loved them and paid attention to them.

Ohhh, I like that idea! I'm sure fandom could band together and raise enough funds to start up an organization like that. Or even a fan-run network! We could totally do it better.

Since I couldn't watch Sam & Dean like I wanted to I queued up the 2nd season of Bones on Netflix instead.

Gotta get your pretty-fix somehow, right? ;)

I was surfing the web for my fandom fix :) So, I was reading too. Found an awesome fanfic, but I actually cried. Mixed feelings on it, as it was excellent, but I was pissed at a character for a chunk of it and actually cried.

Crome and Punishment? You recommend it? I'll have to check it out. :)

Aww... to be honest, I came pretty near tears myself. More over the fact that there was no new SPN, but also because C&P is pretty dang touching, heh.

Yes, I would definitely recommend it! Especially if you love a good dose of angst and inner turmoil. And can pronounce Russian names. ;)
