The official decisions have been made on AJ and Paget's future with the show.

Well, it kinda worked. Paget Brewster's cut-down season doesn't look quite so bad now (10 out of 13 episodes, so out of their usual 22-24 maybe 17-18 eps?), and AJ Cook will be back for two episodes to "wrap up" JJ. I swear, if they kill her off I will be very tempted never to watch again.

Sad. Hopefully they will just have her decide she wants to spend more time just looking after Henry? That would be waaay better than death. It's still sad that they're breaking up the Criminal Minds family.

Yeah, I'm hoping she maybe finds out she's pregnant again and feels like she can't deal with two children and a job that takes her all over the country, something like that. It would seem to make sense, and maybe leave the door open for the occasional guest spot. *hopes*

I honestly don't see how the show can be the same after this, though. Sure, it survived the loss of Gideon and Elle, but I never felt that they clicked with everyone as well as JJ and Prentiss do. They're just making changes for the sake of making changes, and that kinda ticks me off.

I'm guessing it's because actresses are cheaper than actors, so they're firing the actress who's starting to deserve a higher salary and hiring someone cheap to take her place. It's disgusting, but that's studio politics for you. Ugh.
